Frequently Asked Questions
How much do I need in my trading account to get great results?
It depends on the results you want. Our primary focus here is active trading the market. We will call swing trades when the market allows, but day trading is our primary focus. Many of our traders have put their own system together for the swings trades using our weekly set ups. We try to call at least one swing trade per week.
Is the pick history swing trades and day trades?
The 2010 pick history through November are all of the swing trades and day trades. Starting this year we are going to list the swings and the buy and hold picks only. We are going to do this until we have more support on our team. The day trade picks are great, but there are many to keep track of through out the day and we need to focus on finding stock picks and servicing our members for now. Many of our traders don’t have the $25,000 needed to day trade and every one of our members trades the swings. We will hopefully be tracking everything again starting in March of this year.
I see penny stocks mentioned a bunch on the homepage, but see a ton of calls that are much higher, sometimes even $100. Are you going to call some cheaper picks?
We always have plenty of picks posted that are under $10, but sometimes a more expensive stock is set up for an easy 10% gain. We can’t control what stocks hit the entry price, but the % return, risk, charts and fundamentals are the most important to us. We say 10% is 10% no matter how you slice it. We are no longer calling the pinks and otc’s due to our membership base. When we day trade we are concerned with the ATR in relation to the price the stock is trading at. The bigger % the ATR is relative the price the more we like it. This leads to the chat room calls and day trades being mostly over $20 on an average day.
